What better way for Chef Jim Voltz to follow the success of his first cookbook, “Dinner on the Porch,” then with “Brunch on the Porch.”  Both cookbooks are the result of the many summer parties given on the porch of Sunny Shores, the little cottage Jim shares with his best friend Nancy Myers on Crystal Lake near Frankfort, Michigan.  In “Brunch on the Porch,” Jim shares twelve of his favorite brunch menus with detailed recipes for each item, a shopping list, and beverage suggestions.  The book demonstrates just how flexible brunch can be with menus that range from the very casual Chili Brunch to the very grand and elegant menu consisting of quiche, crab cakes, and a soufflé.  But no matter how elegant the items, they’re not difficult to do.  Jim has made the recipes as simple and detailed as possible with tips along the way to ensure your success.  Use this cookbook when you want to have your own elegant brunch party for family and friends, one that all will enjoy and remember for years to come.
